Intermezzo Studios fulfilled the entire visual effects requirement for the hit film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. This included green-screen and wire removal, digital set extensions and computer generated image work (including a spoof ‘Titanic - I'm Flying’ scene).
We were responsible for visual effects supervision during production and were able to ensure that the right shots were filmed - minimising time and cost in post-production. Within a tight post production schedule, we delivered the required effects and shots ahead of time while leaving our mark of quality - contributing to the critical acclaim and commercial success of this feature film.
Rokkk (Feature Film) – VFX
The challenge with Rokkk was to deliver the visual effects without compromising on the look-and-feel and attention to detail that a horror film requires.
Despite being a a low-budget production, we delivered a vast range of visual effects - with a focus on high-quality particle effects. In addition, we designed the haunting ‘title ident’ which opens and sets the scene for this horror film.
Aladin (Feature Film) – Promotional Film VFX
For Aladin, Intermezzo Studios took a brief from the Director, Sujoy Ghosh, for a music video to be used in promotion for the film release.
The work involved green screen removal, wire clean-up and the addition of computer generated images. However we went beyond the brief and developed rich matte-paintings to bring the circus scenery to life and exceeded client expectations.
This video was so well received that it was used in the title role for the film in addition to the promotional activity. The Director provided a strong testimonial of our work.
